Thanksgiving Festival at the Church!

Tonight the church hosted a Thanksgiving festival! We had tons and tons of food, games and the Band Hakugaijin blessed us with their Bilingual English/Japanese music. Jesse jumped in to do his Gospel rap and the people there had a blast! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving tomorrow! (Since we are one day ahead) :) I'll try attaching a video of the band, but it hasn't been working so far...

Prayer request: Tomorrow early morning the Bible College students will be heading out to Tanakijima Island to camp there until Monday morning. One of the Bible College guys has a ministry in ministering to the Islands around Okinawa. This paticular Island has a population of 400 people, but only one person there is a Christian. Please pray that the Lord would allow more people to know about His love and of eternal life that He gives through faith in Him! More postings will follow when we get back from this missions trip on Monday evening! :)

Wednesday Night Service :)

Tonight at our weekly Wednesday Night Mide-week worship we were able to praise the Lord by giving thanks to Him publically in the Church. It was so cool to hear different people in English and Japanese acknowledge the ways the Lord has been blessing them!
"Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." Psalm 100:4,5
With Thanksgiving coming up it is so great for us to sit back and remember the ways the Lord has been faithful in the past because He will continue being faithful in the future! :)
Lastly, I want to introduce to you Alandra and Nico! These kids are such a blessing and so much fun to play with!

Let me introduce you to the latest picture of this Fall's semester of Bible College students. A few days ago we went up North to Pineapple Park (where you can sample tons of free pineapple treats) and then after went to the Aquarium. This Aquarium was the second largest in the Pacific. It was so cool to see bunches of tropical sea creatures and what kinds of things we have been swimming along side of! Scary!

From left to right: Daniel, Christina, Eder, Rob, Tom, Sosimo, Jiai, Keli'i, Jess (me), Stacey, Amber, Becca, Hannah, Rusty, Melinda, Jesse, and Tokito.
Please keep these guys in your prayers as many of them are praying in where to go this following semester or in which ways the Lord is calling them to serve! :)

2nd Semester at Okinawa coming to an end

I have been so blessed with the opportunity to go to Bible College both this semester and last. Although there are only less than 3 weeks left in my time here In Okinawa, Japan, the Lord has put upon my heart to start a blog to keep you all daily updated in how I have been encouraged, what I have been learning, and what the Lord is doing in this moment in my life. I will continue to send out email update letters and keep pictures updated on facebook, but this will give you a better idea in what is going on! God Bless you all! :)
